Cougar Valley

During a summer time visit to the Nakimu Caves we noticed some great looking ski terrain. Today we chose a ridiculously cold day to go looking for it. We made a big loop up towards Ursus Major and then dropped down quite far up the valley. We did eventually find the area but it was too late to take full advantage. And we were fricken' freezing. Steve managed to frost-nip his fingers in the cold wind. It was a prudent bail but we still had to use headlights all the way down from Balu Pass. Next time.
