A day in some mellow terrain the Cougar Valley. Once again we stumbled across one of the dramatic exits from the Nakimu Caves. In fact Markus, who seems to ski at about Mach 2 most of the time, got a little too close. A warning shout from Brenda and a quick hockey stop saved the day.
So here's Markus doing his thing...

Rogers Run and Teddy Bear Trees
It was just Brenda and I on our own today for the first time this season. But not for long. Climbing up Grizzly Shoulder towards Little Sifton we ran into Sabina, John, Lael, Dave, and several others from the ACC. We continued upwards with them and had a great chat. The weather clagged in somewhere along the way so we bailed on the traverse but had a surprisingly good ski down Rogers Run. It was still pretty early so we followed that up with a short run in Teddy Bear Trees, a place we hadn't visited in several years. It's still good!
